Loot Options
What to choose when using RC-Loot Council
Raiders have 2 minutes once a loot session is started to choose one of the below options for each piece of gear that drops. If an option is not chosen in those two minutes, it will be automatically passed on. It is the responsibility of the raiders to know what items are needed and to choose the correct option.
BIS - This should be used for your best-in-slot item. EVEN IF IT IS AN ILVL UPGRADE! Choose this option and put a note like "BIS ILVL UPGRADE". Only use this if it is a BIS item for the main spec you are playing during the raid. If you multi-spec often in raid, then you can choose this and put a note for the spec(only if it is BIS for that spec, otherwise see ILVL Upgrade). Tier** pieces are BIS items. If there is an item you will turn into a tier piece and it is a BIS for that slot, use this option and put a note. Raiders NEED to add a note when choosing this option.
ILVL Upgrade - This should be used if an item is NOT a BIS item but an upgrade for you. This does not include tier** pieces UNLESS the tier piece is an ILVL upgrade but not BIS for that slot. Those should go under BIS with a note. If it is an upgrade(that is not BIS) for an off-spec you play often in raid, choose this and put a note.
Offspec - Choose this option if you are dabbling in an off-spec but not currently in the raid.
Transmog - Look good, play good. Exactly like it says. Choose this for transmog pieces.
Pass - Use this if you do not need or want anything. If a player does not choose loot before the 2-minute timer is up, RC-Loot Council automatically passes on the item.
**Tier pieces are BIS items however not every piece may be a BIS slot. Ex. your BIS tier slots could be head, chest, shoulders, and pants but there is a better item for gloves out of a dungeon.
